MSH, a global talent solutions firm, is expanding to New York City, with a new office planned to open on April 2, 2018.
Established in 2011 in South Florida, MSH Talent Solutions has grown quickly to serve the recruiting and talent acquisition needs of a wide range of companies across three continents. The company currently operates multiple international offices, and has done significant business in the New York market over the years. When deciding where the next office would be, NYC was an obvious choice, according to MSH COO and Managing Partner Oz Rashid. With this new location and regional focus, the company hopes to fill a gap between traditional recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) providers and strategic consultancies.
“We want to transform the industry, and to do that, we know we need to be focused on multiple markets,” Rashid said. “MSH’s progressive nature, assertive attitude, and drive to get things done aligns well with the NYC environment, and we’re excited to have a foothold in one of the fastest-moving business centers in the world.”
MSH Talent Solutions has hired Erik Oldis, a seasoned talent acquisition leader in the New York market and former MSH client, to lead the expansion as the General Manager for the Northeast Region. Having spent his 20+ year career in corporate recruitment, working with and selecting vendors like MSH, Oldis looks forward to bringing a unique perspective that will allow the company to better align with and understand its customers and deliver overall better service.
“MSH has a level of integrity, client service, and quality execution that I’ve never seen from a talent acquisition services provider before,” Oldis said. “I’m excited to transition to the vendor side of the business with such a great company.”
Prior to coming to MSH Talent Solutions, Oldis consulted on a complex post-merger integration while leading other talent acquisition related activities for Revlon. Throughout his career, he’s held key talent acquisition leadership positions at some of the largest companies in the world, including Cablevision, Morgan Stanley, and JP Morgan. According to Rashid, Oldis’s experience will not only help MSH Talent Solutions grow its business in the Northeast Region, but also expand the culture company-wide.
“As a manager, Erik mixes his incredible business strategy knowledge with a keen understanding of how to motivate his team—qualities that will really help us grow MSH in a number of different ways,” Rashid said.
With an aggressive growth strategy, this New York office will serve as a playbook for future MSH Talent Solutions expansions, as it continues on its upward trajectory.
